      I agree, people just doesn’t realize “e psi” and “epsi” can be distinctively different things.

          Because there is an additional character inserted in there: the space. The original string didn’t include a space character.

          In the context of natural language its like saying: “nowhere” is the same as “now here” or “therapist” is the same as “the rapist” - essentially a single character skews the whole meaning.
