It’s not really the religion though, basically all religions come with a set of believes in what is wrong and right and the hate-spewing war criminals will say it has to do with their religion, but they do not follow the believes set out by their religion. I believe that in Judaism there is some traditions of interpretation which can justify the current situation. But it isn’t a religion based on obedience as much as discussion so it isn’t a matter of what is “said” as much as what is understood.

I think it actually trivializes the allegations made by the IDF solidiers because the substance of historical “blood libel” myths seem almost gentle by comparison of what is actually going on.
