      That’s when you “accidentally” bring the service down after creating a paper trail outlining the potential impacts of an outage.

      Did this once with a rack of UPS batteries that had been showing as bad for months. Oops, I accidentally tripped over the power cord in the cold room.

      When the C-suite came looking for heads to roll I got to show them the stack of purchase requests with warnings about exactly what would happen if power was lost that they personally denied.
