I don’t care who mines the moon because it’s dumb to bother with it (what can we possibly get from the moon at lower cost than on earth?) but I do care if fucking corporations strip mine and permanently mar the moon’s visible face. That’s a common good to all humans that have ever lived.
I’m also mad about starlink blowing out amateur astronomy with their bazinga radios
What worries me is that in this fake ass economy, the PR alone would make it worth it for these bloodsuckers.
We urgently need international rules around this – to ensure the US has a chance to catch up and then ignore those rules.
