John Eastman, a lawyer who spearheaded efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Trump’s favor, has been formally disbarred in California
The California Supreme Court on Wednesday declined to review his appeal of a lower court’s recommendation to strip him of his law license, instead ordering his disbarment.
“The court orders that John Charles Eastman…is disbarred from the practice of law in California and that Respondent’s name is stricken from the roll of attorneys,” reads a terse order on the docket of Eastman’s case.

It’s infuriating how slow justice can be.
We don’t have a “justice” system. We have a “legal” system.
A justice system would work much faster but at a cost.
The “justice” system only works against minorities and usually involves minimum sentences
Justice is always much slower than fascism. That’s how the latter takes hold.
It’s slow on purpose. More innocent people would be caught up in it than they already are if things moved rapidly.
If it takes 6 years it isn’t justice.

It takes long enough for their side to retake power and discard any investigations.
America needs laws where cases of insurrection and are expedited. Also, investigations should investigate their monetary transactions as much as personal communications.
I seem to remember tearful letters written on behalf of this asshole and printed in the Denver Post when he was rightfully kicked out of CU.
Fuck this guy. He should be in prison.
