When I was in elementary school we did a recital where we sang a bunch of songs and one of the songs was Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah and I spent probably about half my life not having any idea where that song came from but it is a catchy tune I got to say.
I remember having a Disneyland VHS tape from the 80s where Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah was used to promote Splash Mountain (originally based on Song of the South before being re-imagined for Princess and the Frog for obvious reasons). Thought that it slapped as a kid.
