Yes, but it’s literally flanked by sand beaches on both sides, with many other sand beaches further north and south.

Ah nice.
Why do you have the south up?
I wanted “The Concrete Beach” to be legible and it was always aligned to the left side, I didn’t want it to be hard to read between all the urban stuff
Oh, I was expecting a maoist rant
now i want to hear the maoist rant
North being up is bourgeoise thought policing, east should point up, orientation literally means “east up”
Nicely done
Why not use the sand beaches? Private property? Why make the public beach concrete? Was there sand originally and then it washed away?
All the sand beaches are public
Then why not use them?
Some people don’t like sand
Been there. It’s like being poolside, but the pool is a lake.
Aw yeah frying away on the blacktop
I don’t like the great lakes. If you can’t see the other side, then it isn’t a lake, it’s a sea. That’s what I think anyway.
Fresh water is not suposed to have tides
apparently “seas” are saltwater. we could do a different word for fresh water that’s too big for a lake, or we could dump a fuckload of salt in to the great lakes.
Then there’s the Baltic Sea which does whatever it wants
Huh I didn’t know about its salinity gradient
