Aren’t they notorious for using a fuckload of contractors though? I know that them relying on a revolving door of limited-time contractors to avoid hiring full-time employees caused a ton of issues with Infinite. This statement just strikes me as “don’t worry, it’s just the plebs who were laid-off! The C-suite all still have their jobs 🙂”

One of the “contractors” who was let go was a producer on the new Halo who’d been at the company for six years, so yeah, it’s just contract fuckery to keep wages/employee protections down.

I’ve been contracting with a tech company for over 2 years, renewed every 6 months. Total horseshit.
