    I think there could be room for your perspective in the reformed comm! I guess it doesnt have to be DSA-specific or anything. A lot of it has to do with how any time there is an electoral failure or shortcoming there are immediate comments that are along the lines of “fell for it again, you’re stupid for caring about succdem electoral politics”. It just kind of sucks to have the tone of “I knew they would fail and you 100% believed [mamdani or whoever] would succeed at building socialism, and i hope [mamdani or whoever] continues to fail so i can be more correct.”.

    If you arent carrying that energy, and you’re interested in having a constructive conversation, that’s just an educational opportunity, which is kind of the whole idea! I would like to see people filter in to the instance and get exposed to more revolutionary perspectives and left-criticism! We need to have a friendlier space in order for that to happen, though.
