While I whole heartedly agree with Mackelmore’s message, Ed has been pretty direct about wanting to keep things apolitical. Knowing that, Mackelmore decided to use his set as a platform which is very disrespectful.

If he had been opening for RATM, my opinion would be much different.

People aren’t there to hear what you have to say about global politics. They’re there to enjoy a performance, not to be reminded about all of the horrible shit going on.

If he wants to start a “Free Palestine” tour, I 1000% support that, although I won’t go because politics doesn’t need to be shoved into literally every facet of life.
