I get it, it’s a shitpost, but the US choosing a slightly less fascistic government halfway through the orange shitstain’s second attempt to turn the US into his technofeudal fiefdom isn’t really “fixing all the problems”…

It’s a VERY small step in the right direction, and the first step of a VERY long road.

Earl gray. Hot. While watching the Epstein criminal class tried and convicted. Whole human trafficking and drug smuggling operations being exposed and brought down. A sliver of Justice. Make it so, oh please gods of trek and beyond.

We gotta keep on fighting! For Jean-Luc!

If you live in the US, email your local senator and tell them how happy you are about Abdul’s win, and how you hope they’ll follow Abdul’s example. Tell them what issues you care about, and what sorts of things would cost them your vote.

Yeah, let’s not count our chickens just yet on world events. Though I’d love to hope you’re right.

Jokes aside, there’s a non-zero chance his death, and the values he portrayed as Captain Picard, influenced voters.

We changed the name of our first shuttle from Constitution to Enterprise because of Trekkies writing in, it absolutely has an influence and we could really use more of Jean-Luc’s resolve and Sir Patrick’s kindness these days.

The goal was to fix the oops in 2012, but something’s better than nothing.
