    Oh alright then, I wasn’t sure before but I guess it’s all settled now.

    Can they even do proper psyops anymore? It would be so much more effective to come to this conclusion as a somewhat high profile, somewhat respectable group unassosciated with (but with free access of information to) federal agencies. Just make the CIA cutout, hype up the investigation, do some performative and maybe even highly publicized chaffing with the government and then release your totally legit findings.

    E: you could even put Chomsky on the team, he’s already openly defended his association with Epstein and most uninformed “lefties” still take what he says to heart.

    Unless the psyop is freely flaunting the level of control they have to put a cap on the consequences of conspiracies like this, even if the public is aware.

    Thinking about all those liberal Chinese students in my Chinese literature classes ranting about the oppressiveness of the CCP or even the few straight up claiming to be right wing who despised “liberals”, or my Chinese teachers that would suggest right wing reading material or the one that balked at me for suggesting China did the right thing wrt to covid measures, the same one that said their favorite historical figure was Winston Churchill and again balked when I said mine was Ho Chi Minh, or that Chinese writer for the school newspaper that voiced full-throated support for ridding the school of our Confucious institute because it was insidious CCP propaganda (they gave beginner chinese lessons to the public for $20 and threw a new years celebration party every year 🙄).

    Yeah I know it’s not Chinese people’s fault, not suggesting that, just felt annoyed how these people were advocating against their own interests and encouraging a future like this cause they thought they had a good shot at joining club honky.

    Im gonna go on a tangeant, but am I missing something in the lore or is Yoda a fucking coward? The sith, with the assistance of the empire, comes in and murders all of his friends and even all the Padawans and he just says “nothing to be done” and goes into hiding.

    It’s incredible how Andor recontextualizes this because when this happens to other people like Andor or Luthen or Kayla or any other part of the rebellion and it’s precursors, they choose to harness their hate and fight to make things better. Even the people we’d call liberals and co-opters like Mothma (debatable, she did sacrifice a lot and was very comitted), Leah’s father, and other former senate members still did more to fight than these loser Jedis. People with everything to lose and a fraction of the power Jedis have and they actually commit to fighting. Even the fucking sith lords put themselves on the front line and commit to an ideology.

    And after all of that, the Jedi suddenly decide its time to participate once the rebellion is already built up and flourishing, they send one golden special boy to fight, and suddenly they’re the spear head of the movement. Fuck these assholes, I hate the Jedi, especially Yoda.
