Posting here so other people might catch it before it’s gone but I don’t know what timezones do to schedules
Anyway,
Loved it, awesome movie. A great scenescape of 80’s New York as well and I love the snappy and playful editing, Alan Ruck and the main actor playing Ferris are perfect but everyone really does a great job here. Instant recommend if you want a teenage comedy that’s competently made and doesn’t make fun of you while watching it
Also love that Deadpool stole/references the end credit, such a lovely thing
Just learned from Wikipedia that it’s not New York but Chicago. Oh well, that’s what I get for not having been to either places
Pretend I gently roasted you for this mix-up and we both had a sensible chuckle.
John Hughes is rolling and shitting and pissing in his grave that you said it was in New York. They go to Sears tower, they watch a Cubs game, what more could he have done???
I…thought it was just a different neighborhood in New York
It’s a bummer the principal turned out to be a pedophile and Matthew Broderick killed two women by driving on the wrong side of the road. Still a great movie tho.
damn didnt know they made a sequel to this movie that went in such a dark direction
Wait what the fuck? Also I know Ben Stein is a zionist piece of shit far right sicko.
Wow, that sucks man
The sausage king of Chicago when the sausage king of New York walks in
great flick. Alan Ruck is the highlight for me comedy wise. definitely has impeccable vibes
Anyone? Something-D-O-O economics. Voodoo. Economics.
The bit about the tariffs echoed really well too, I didn’t know that
I love this movie. It’s easily one of my favorites.
Always thought Alan Ruck was easily the best thing in this, and he was perfect on Succession.
