I expected a bit more Lunkiness, but I think that will reveal itself once the show gets going, it seems to have the right tone.
Overall this is the spinoff I’ve been the most excited about.
I simply cannot fathom how they’re going to stretch this to six episodes. Hell this trailer basically covered the entire plot of the first novella. How the fuck are they going to stretch this?
It’s really not that difficult.
Mild The Hedge Knight spoilers
- Introduction of Dunk and his background, meets Egg.
- Introduction of the tournament and key characters, Egg reveal.
- Dunk’s sentencing.
- Collecting allies.
- Trial of the seven.
- Aftermath and setting up future adventures.
You could cut it down to 4-5 episodes if you had to, but making 6 is totally reasonable.
That sounds just hellishly paced. That sounds like six stretched out and poorly paced episodes as opposed to three decent episodes to me.
