Yeah, that’s how it goes sometimes. It would probably have been a good idea to choose a different meme if you didn’t want a bunch of pedants to be pedantic. It’s a public forum and discussions can go in all sorts of directions one didn’t expect from the outset. You did get a bunch of people to post memes though, if I were you I’d focus on and engage with that, rather than be sour your post got “the wrong kind” of interaction.
