I feel justified that after so many years my not liking this douche was justified. I get a lot of people love Smashing Pumpkins and they wrote a lot of good songs but they always came across as pretentious to me and this fucker always gave me weird vibes.

Billy “Kanye learned to be egotistical from me” Corgan (from “The Smashing Pumpkins”) and his wife.

Don’t get me wrong, I would do similar. Though I think I would have a min of like 30 so the person is mentally mature, and not trying to drag me out to parties.

The 20 somethings can have each other. 30 to 45 women go with the older men, 30 to 45 men go with the cougars.

The older men die off before the women turn into Cougars. Or they just stop caring about women in that way. So the women can then have the energetic men they want.

    Everybody wins.

People over 30 still party! We just feel it more the morning after!

they just stop caring about women in that way.

From conversations with the older men I’ve known throughout life, I don’t think that happens for everyone. Maybe sporadically as life events come and go but even the actual old guys I’ve known (80yr olds) were still interested in romantic (and sexual) relationships; maybe more interested than someone in their 30s is.

That part came from a psychiatrist. It isn’t every guy for sure. But the % still interested drops a lot somewhere around 60 or something. And the average age expectancy for men in the us is 76.5. So the ones in their 80’s and still alive have a higher chance of still being interested mainly because the others died off. My personal opinion is that longevity and libido are commonly correlated. But I have no real data for that.

Kind of looks like that neighbor that’s mostly normal but something is just a bit off.

Y’all should hang with Filipinos. That gap is perfectly normal. My wife is freaked out to be 6-months older than me when all her friend’s husbands are 20+ years older, 40 in one case. She hates it to the point I can’t even joke about it at a party. :)

I guess. But at what point do societal expectations and pressure override consent in a fully formed and educated human? Is there such a point? Something about this makes me think there is.

Then again, I also think that forcing children into a religion is abuse. So maybe this is just my skewed view that the influence of culture is often inappropriate.

You’re basically describing an arranged marriage
