Noooooo! I finally had a main character to relate to! If you like Bob’s Burgers and weren’t watching this, shame on you. Not on the exact same level, but still really nice.
Could you explain a bit more please?
I like Bob’s Burgers, but I think back when I checked out this show it wasn’t clicking for me. Maybe it’s worth giving it another chance?
Same basic creative/writing team, as I understand it. Same animation style. Like with most shows, it took awhile to find its footing, but had the same kind of warm, optimistic charm as Bob’s Burgers. I’d hoped they’d get a crossover or two.
It does look pretty similar now that you mention it. I’ll definitely give it another go, thanks!
My personal opinion was it had too many songs, I watched two episodes and couldn’t do it. So I’d say imagine Bob’s Burgers with an emphasis on musicals.
Maybe in the first season, I can’t really recall any in the latest season.
My biggest issue with the show was it was kind “too” wholesome. No one really ever does anything wrong and everyone always gets along. It’s still a good show, but I think that held it back a little from Bob’s Burgers.
Bob’s burgers definitely had an emphasis on singing already, though i suppose it’s still good to know what I’m getting into! Lol
This has been my wife’s favourite show - and I have enjoyed it too. It will be missed.
Bummer it was fun
I appreciate that the last episode was written like a series finale, but man I really wanted to spend more time with the Tobin family.
Never heard of it before but it looks interesting.
I really enjoyed it, it’s a bummer.
