Do you really need to drink 5 metric gallons of water in one go?
Wordpress makes kitchen sink taps now?
Aren’t those thermos specifically designed so you don’t have to drink it on one go? I’d assume the person fills them and then has a sip every so often so they don’t have to leave their desk every 30 minutes to get water.
Now there are two of them?
Wtf you have to login to even view the page?
There is a handlebar… I dont see how this can go out pf Hand…
Afraid to drink “ze german” water?
Wake up babe! new measurement unit just dropped! The metric gallon
The metric gallon can be defined as 1/5th of a large tumbler or about the same amount as a standard coffee mug or 0.06340129 US Gallons.
How many imperial liters is that?
100in³
5 metric gallons equals 1.8 imperial gallons
Or would a metric gallon be 4 liters?
A “metric ton” is 1000 kilograms, or 2200 pounds, which is a shade more than a short ton at 2,000 pounds.
A US gallon is 4 quarts, which is about equal to 3.8 liters. So if a metric gallon was 4 liters, it’d be just a shade more than a US gallon.
I was just running with the 100 cubic inches to see what that would be.
More seriously, like how a metric cup is 250mL (15mL tablespoon) I agree that a metric gallon would be 4L. In fact, in my neck of the woods “a gallon of milk” is in fact 4L.
Okay so I think we can call that decided. The Council Of Internet Nonsense has spoken. A metric gallon is equal to 4 liters or 1.05669 US gallons. It has been COINed.
The metric gallon is part of America’s implementation of the metric system. There’s also metric feet and metric pounds.
You joke, but we learned “tons” and “metric tons” in elementary school.
I assume it’s the reason “metric” is used as an adjective this way.
Roughly equal to 1000 metric teaspoons.
Jason Statham would use metric gallons, and call anyone who doesn’t a muppet.
Yes I do, so I don’t have to keep getting more water every hour
Yea, putting Jason Statham on a coffee mug seems a bit overboard and I don’t think he’d like it
Statham cups are so hot right now.
Because they’re not insulated
If only we could somehow fit even more plastic into this then we’d be getting rid of those plastics from being used elsewhere. /s
glances at their 4L water bottle
