What is it with these guys and the shitty anime booba gatcha games? I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone complaining about woke “ruining gaming” that doesn’t play the absolute worst empty addictive slop possible. It is honestly like they cannot understand the difference between something enjoyable because they jerk off to it, and something enjoyable because it is a nice experience.

I have a love-hate relationship with how the (chinese especially like Hoyoverse or Kuro Games) game companies use gooner fanservice sometimes, then the whole ‘discussion’ about WuWa (Wuthering Waves, gacha game, genshin but from Kuro Games) winning the Players’ Voice because of “no DEI” (???) I had to ignore it to not get myself in thata argument since I can’t judge for myself if that’s true since I haven’t played WuWa in a while but likely either untrue or exaggeration (there’s a LOT of reasons, but I know one of them is not DEI).
I’m partly convinced the worldwide falling birthrate is because these people find gooning to be easier than tricking women into dating them.
Still amazes me that nobody looked at the great jeans ad campaign and said “on second thought maybe this isn’t a brilliant idea.”
Shoutout to Apex Legends. Apex had an NB character as one of their original 5 launch heroes and they have a trans character voiced by an actual trans woman. It always felt like they were being sincere with their wokeness and weren’t doing it just to pander.

I like war games where I can play as the Soviets. Or anything where I get to kill Nazis. Aside from that, I don’t really enjoy that junk.
(Sure, Great Patriotic War shooters can be fun. But I also like HOI4 because of the sheer scale on which you can kill fascists. What can I say, dead Nazis is good clean wholesome fun!)

yeah materially support the gooner creators that aligns with your views if you can, but in this day and age, you’re bound to play a few slop (gooner, especially) games loved by many so my only advice besides that is to keep yourself in check and chat with like-minded people who also like that gooner slop (e.g, I play gacha games like HSR or PGR but I stay far away from the part of the community that isn’t lesbian yuriposting lol)
