There’s also just no point. What exactly would one hope to accomplish in having a window in their dishwasher? With a microwave, you can monitor food and make sure it’s not boiling over, smoking, exploding, etc. With an oven, you can monitor goods to see if they’re done or not. But a dishwasher? Unlike a cooking device, there’s no harm in leaving dishes in the dishwasher too long. You don’t need to pull them out at just the exact moment they’re fully clean.
Unless you’re one of those weirdos that cooks things in their dishwasher, I can’t see any reason why you would need a window in one.
Okay, but why then is there a window in my washing machine?
Usually only on front-loading models so you can see if there’s water in it before trying to open the door.
Which is what most of the world uses. And it’s also kinda nice to look at, which isn’t the case for dishwashers.
They’re attractive, but they also have a much bigger problem with gaskets getting moldy, and I personally think getting clothes in and out of a top-loading is more convenient unless they’re stacked.
Because people like watching the spinny go spin.
To see the mold growing in the side loader machine’s silicon gasket that never dries out of course!
Also because that’s what the house came with and it didn’t break yet.
I kill it with vinegar filled wash cycles now and then but it’s annoying and recurrent. Top loader with dumb knobs and a metal lid next if they die before me.
my mom’ll never get a side-loaded washer for that exact reason. Clothes also may get a musty smell even when cleaned in one. We’ve got sensitive noses so it’d be unbearable for us
Leave the door cracked after washing until it dries out.
You can get anti fungal liquid that you add to one of the secondary dispensers which should keep that at bay while also keeping mould off your clothes, and also you can leave the door open between cycles to dry it out. I’ve been told it’s important to leave the door open when it’s not in use.

I leave the door open yep, clean the drain trap too.
I should try anti fungal instead, we’ll see if it does better than vinegar. The cheap bulk white vinegar does work, I just have to do that twice a month and remember to wipe down the gasket frequently.

Your gnomes shouldn’t be dead, they’re technically immortal and a stint in the dishwasher is their ticket out of the salt mines. If you’ve got dead gnomes the last thing you want is to keep their bodies on the premises. If you leave them in the cartridge they can be revived when you exchange it for the new cartridge. If you put them in the ground they will find… other ways back to their realm, and they will remember what you did.
And please remember to buy gnomane dishwashing tablets, I cannot stress enough how much they should not be dead.

For the purposes of saving water, your dishes are repeatedly washed in dirty greasy brown water before rinsing. This does not look good, but in fact it is alright.

This one kinda makes some sense. Screens and text are often small enough that properly punctuated sentences can almost feel cramped. Adding visual space helps emphasize pauses and full stops. I use hyphens often in Discord when chatting, instead of periods or commas, since comments and convos can shift pretty quickly.

I guess it’s a stylistic choice to express emphasis instead of using italics or bold text.
Maybe they’re not a native speaker? German for instance capitalizes all nouns. You’ll often find weird capitalizations in my (mobile) writing when my phone didn’t correctly guess what I wanted to type. At least some words in the OPs text are German nouns (e.g. See, All), while others aren’t.

I see the vision but that’s not how you type on the internet.
It looks weird but admittedly, once deciphered, it’s a pretty good way of making you read it in a very specific way.
Yeah, but there are unwritten rules of how most people do it. Whole caps or asterisks for emphasis, ellipsis, hyphen or tilde for pause - things like that.
Per internet rules, capitalization can only be used for emphasis LIKE THIS. Doing it any other way is just bad grammar and, as a result, confusing.
If those capitalized words were in all caps, it wouldn’t read the same way. I agree it’s confusing at first, though.

Insulation on the dishwasher is mostly for noise and stopping moisture or heat from damaging surrounding cabinets.
The dishwasher is using new water or heating water. It is not designed to keep the same water hot for an hour plus.
The whole back of the dishwasher is a tiny piece of plastic. Not insulated at all. Some fancy ones now put a little insulation on back.
But the idea isn’t to keep heat trapped to wash dishes, but to keep heat from being released and damaging things.
I haven’t seen anything that says how hot it gets in the window . Just that it’s “super insulated”.
I’m not an engineer, I don’t know how it works. I can touch the transparent window without getting burned, so it appears the window is insulated.

Knowing how “fun” it is to make a truly watertight window, even with low pressure, matching both cold and hot and detergent and whatever’s flying in there, I’m glad there isn’t a glass pane to view into the dishwasher.
Also, I’m usually doing things that are not reliant on seeing what’s happening in a dishwasher when it is running, so the cost effectiveness would not be great there.
How is it different from a window in a washing machines, because those are quite common.
I’m not sure… as my current washing machine don’t have one. It’s a top-loader. I do see washing machines with a round door, though. Maybe the difference is that the whole door is the glass part, so there’s no seal to make with the rest of the “door” part, but that’s not satisfying.
I’d be curious to ear from an expert about this.
My washer and dryer have tinted windows. I have no idea why. I’m guessing their chief designer drives a heavily modded Scion though.
I have a window in mine. It’s great, I can see when something’s not cleaning right and I fix it. Saves on redos.

On the one hand I get that people with large dishwashers don’t want to learn how many times the same goopy water is recycled to splash over the things they put in their mouths, but it’s kinda mesmerizing, if I’m being honest.
It’s more salubrious than having that nasty dishwater all over your skin, eh? And yeah, it’s fun to watch.
