      Can’t watch right now. Is he actually saying stuff or is it just vague gesturing towards “corporate greed” with a random side swipe against China (that somehow always makes it in even among otherwise nice people)?

        Not really. In this one, he’s pretty specific about calling out tech companies and the US government for naked corruption and regulatory capture, and poses the hypothesis that the datacenter craze is to force more software-as-a-service subscription shit down our throats if and when AI does not prove to be profitable, with the PC affordability crisis being a feature, not a bug. No random anti-China bullshit, either. I recommend watching, because my synopsis isn’t doing it justice.

        He explains the whole situation in clear easily understood terms, a tech industry newsread divided into subjects/chapters in the usual style of Gamers Nexus. I don’t recall hearing any anti-China rhetoric ever from Steve and I’ve watched hundreds of GN videos. China is mentioned frequently in matter-of-fact ways as part of whatever is being explained.

        He fucking hates what’s happening now and the reasons behind it.
