Oh they were throwing that one at Muslims and asians in 2024 because we wouldn’t let them forget that their Zionazi candidates were genocidal mass-murderers. I appreciated it actually, because I can use it as evidence when trying to educate people as to how and why liberals are racist fascists

I would love to collect info on these if you have any on hand. I’ve been having some beef in this Trans group with a couple people who are very against the idea we can move beyond the democratic party. I’m not even trying to tell them to all militarize right fucking now but do something to start their self liberation. Even taking the smallest peak into POC history, especially black movements throughout the United states history, would show what backing liberals does. This has all been examined before.

Thankfully most agreed with me, but the dialogue that’s been had has been depressing. I even had someone who’s organizing a YDSA chapter start bashing me about how “helpful democrats have been in stopping trumps plans from happening and he complains about it all the ti~me on truth social.” So much for solidarity while I’m actively agitating people. I have been arguing for Liberals historical abandonment of minorities, but that would really help with more recent bashing. I remember they did it but I have trouble finding it recently, I had asked in an actual post on trans topics but this would also help put more baggage on democrats.

I tried to be productive and helpful but just thinking about white supremaciat Nazi liberals got me so angry I couldn't.

I don’t have the receipts, I nuked my reddit account. In any case evidence doesn’t matter. The evidence is there right in the open, and liberals refuse to acknowledge it because they are, at core, selfish white supremacist Nazis who only care about themselves. This is why liberal allyship is so performative: it’s not about helping marginalized people, whom they view as subhuman unless they happen to be in an overlapping demographic (white), it’s about making them feel like they’re good people without having to give up the illusion of comfort and safety. A decent person would see these awful truths and move toward liberatory solidarity already. That these people refuse to tells you all you need to know about them

So instead in these discussions I just try to hurt them emotionally. They get uncomfortable having it rubbed in their faces that when they advocate voting blue no matter who, they are siding with mass-murdering genocidal Nazis. This makes them uncomfortable. This makes them shut up. It doesn’t make them betray their own perceives material interests. Nothing could. They know that they’ll be fine under the liberal Nazi party, and it doesn’t matter that the rest of the world won’t be.

Just emotionally hurt them. They aren’t worth respecting, they choose to never learn, they aren’t worth investing time and effort into.

Fuck that’s so fucking accurate and it’s insane that it’s been said for decades.

You’re absolutely right, I was actually missing my own advice in not focusing on recruiting people that refuse to learn, and instead focus on those willing to make a difference and organize, thanks.

I don’t think it’s bad to insult AI or its fanatics online. For me it’s a distrust of anyone that delights in cosplay racism in whatever form is acceptable, and while they are doing so strive to be close to recreating real racism. I am thinking of people with chatgpt girlfriends being mocked as clanker lovers; it just seems like we can insult loser gooners without drawing on slurs.

The hogs collectively finally picked up that humanoid robots in science fiction is actually an analog for slavery during the clanker spree and as hogs tend to do they immediately started using clanker as a slur against black people and reinterpreted the whole anti-AI robot phase and phrase as outright anti-black racism.

              thinly veiled hog racism

Which is why there started to be “memes” about whipping your field clankers to work harder, fucking with your house clankers for not cleaning the kitchen fast enough, trying to fit in with the future AI overlords by using the soft clanka instead of the hard R clanker, etc. Like sure it started generally innocent and was a whole star wars bit about the Droid army in the clone wars shows, but the swine threw it in the mud and wallowed in it.

I’m not convinced. Biden had four years to pursue rapproachment with Iran, but he doubled down on every single Trump policy he touched. Would Kamala have invaded too? I think there’s a good chance she would have. I think there’s a good chance ICE would be doing exactly the same shit they’re doing now, I think the only difference would have been the libs going back to brunch and the horrors getting swept under the rug.

              Highly doubt it.

US realized in 2016 that the pacific theatre is lost. The US and all of NATO could attack China at the same time and they’d still have lost, except the economic fallout would’ve been far greater than the war with Iran.

The US would try to stir shit up, and immediately realize they’re far outclassed by a superior productive economy with 4 times as many people that are far more patriotic than the average American.

Any war with China is the incineration of the corpse that the US has become

You literally won’t be able to vote again at this rate. So dumb.

That’s what you people said last time, yet here we are again, having this same conversation.

There’s no reason for the USA to ever get rid of the election theater. It placates the average liberal with a vain hope for potential change some years down the line. It dissuades them from any more radical action, turns them into docile sheep who think that all you need to do to enact meaningful change is to throw a piece of paper into a ballot box once every 2 years.

But the reality is that the change will never come. You’re only temporarily pulling the brakes a little on a steady downwards decline. But the destination remains the same: rock bottom.

Ah yes, this is about “imperfect candidates” and not about normalizing things like transphobia across the entire mainstream US political spectrum that centrist consultants are trying to push. 🤡

How difficult is it to understand that as soon you signal it’s acceptable for these bigoted “imperfect” candidates to exist, you’re only making things worse for the people you claim to support. Labour in the UK is a perfect example of what happens when people follow your dog shit strategy. Being pro-trans is now considered an unpopular niche position within that party, and trans people have only lost more rights as a result. So fuck you.

What’s stupid is announcing that you’ll support a party without a single condition. It’s like going to a dealership and announcing that you’ll be buying a car no matter what.

Your vote is a form of bargaining power, and if a politician won’t stand up for your rights (and the rights of others), then you walk. You don’t give up every ounce of bargaining power in exchange for nothing just because you’re scared of a boogeyman (a boogeyman they helped create, I might add).

someone that supports 95% of my rights

This is where we have wildly different assessments of reality. I don’t see the Democrats as representing anywhere near that number.

You talk about “imperfections” and “95%” when the reality is that many of them aren’t just imperfect but horrifically flawed, and it’s a lot closer to 5% than it is to 95%.

Let’s just take one single policy, for example. The Patriot Act. Widely supported by the Democratic party, both as an “emergency measure” when it was first enacted, and to this day, if it wasn’t clear that those “emergency” powers were never going anywhere. Even though the law gives the executive so much power, they don’t touch it even when Trump is in office. Under the Patriot Act, do you think we still have “95%” of the privacy rights we had in the 90’s?

That’s just the baseline. That’s before even touching on all the Democrats who are especially bad, those who want to fund a genocide, or the handful like Turek who is openly campaigning on taking healthcare away from trans people.

So don’t talk to me about “imperfections” or “95%,” when the majority of the party leadership are straight-up fascists, with a veneer of politeness plastered over.

If Democrats want my vote they should stand up for my rights.

Too late for what though? If your trash ass bougie democracy can allow pedophiles be elected than I think we should burn the whole thing down. Including your dumbass who thinks genocide is single voter issue when its the crimes of all crimes.

Democratic socialists are winniyfrom the ground up.

          social-democracy

And if you had spent your college years reading history instead of cramming for scantrons, you would know how that worked out over the last 100 years, wouldn’t you?

You’re supporting a political party that is openly bigoted, pro nazi, pro zionist, and pro genocide. What exactly is it that separates you from a republican voter? What is it you dislike about trump other than him not bothering to feign politeness while carrying out standard bipartisan amerikkkan policy?

Voting in this system only guarantees the wealthy win most elections. Maybe that’s good enough for you. Maybe not.

Voting without demanding your vote be counted in public is not a good way to reform politics.

And maybe you are in a state that does count votes like that. But even if you are, your federal elections are at the mercy of the majority of systems that are not democratic.

We are fixing the systyfrom the ground up.

Not voting for the better candidate makes it a longer journey with more pain to fix it.

Democratic socialists are winning from the ground up for a reason. It won’t be instant change but better than going the wrong direction and letting fascists win

If you think the way forward is voting, then the primary goal should be making states count ballots properly.

However I can guarantee that this will not be popular at all.

It’s much more practical to spend energy and time on things that are proven to work

We absolutely should abolish the electoral college.

How well is not voting and letting Trump win working out for Palestine right now? They doing super well over there?

Maybe letting the fascists win doesn’t work lol

I’m good, I’m posting the truth whether people like it or not.

I know this is a pretty extreme far left community, and people will downvote just because they don’t like the truth.

But I’ll still stand up for what’s right regardless.

You have faith voting for something or someone means that something or someone will win.

While we would both be glad to see bad people not be in power; you expect something from a system that is a fairy tale. The states that have fair voting are in a minority.

Trump most probably did not win his first national primary if the votes were counted fairly. Instead of revamping that system to where it could not happen again, people are wasting their energy

Can’t not try because you think there will be some foul play.

And yes I’m in California, we do have fair voting here.

I mean sure, when I forget the pizza in the oven and it comes out as a charred piece of coal, that is technically also an “imperfect pizza”.

Doesn’t mean I’d eat that shit though.

Nothing mandatory about voting in the USA. Vote, don’t vote, write in a candidate if you can, you do you.

But nothing in my many decades alive at this point has been proven to me harder than “voting for the lesser of two evils” just leads to a future of the same evils you thought you were voting against. So… no real reason to feel pressured to support the lesser evil.
